MEXICAN-AMERICAN WAR

“Comedian” George Lopez Ticked Off GOProud. We Still Won’t Watch Him

On George Lopez’ new HBO comedy, It’s Not Me, It’s You,  the Mexican-American comedian went off on Mitt Romney, joking that the GOP presidential candidate is actually Latino but won’t admit it. “If you want our vote, puto,” Lopez said, “come out of the closet!”

That angered GOProud director Jimmy LaSalvia, who bristled at the use of puto, which is often used as an equivalent for “faggot.”  LaSalvia tells Laughspin, “It’s just another in a long line of examples of when liberals can use homophobic slurs and not face any consequences.” GOProud is asking for an apology from Lopez.

Get in line behind everyone who sat through his stand up, buddy.
