Barack Obama wasn't a total loser in Texas last night. The Senator snagged more caucus nods than rival Hillary Clinton. [SH]

Caucuses are wholly undemocratic processes and should be eliminated in future. Especially the lame-ass primary/caucus hybrid in Texas.
HERE HERE!!!!
There should be NATIONAL standards for NATIONAL office, this whole caucus thing…which is nothing more than bullying people to vote for your candidate is disgusting.
And why can't we just have 6 primary days, one a month, jan to june, carved up by region?
How can this be true when only 39% of the caucus sites are reporting and it is still so close?
There are two big parts to a political party. One is the voters. The other is the people who are able and willing to work for the cause. People who will go knocking on doors, carrying signs, talking to people, making phone calls, and generally spending hours for the party are vitally important. The candidate who can get those people to work for him (or her), for free, has a huge advantage. That's what caucuses are all about. The people who show up at a caucus, spending their time and money to get there and participate, are the ones who will spend the shoe leather to convince others to actually vote in November. So, the test of the caucus is to find out which candidate can actually motivate those people. Those people, in fact, are the ones that make or break state-wide and national campaigns. It might not seem "fair", but it really is in the candidates and the parties best interest.
Yea, I think we need to keep in mind that only 40% of the caucus results have been reported. When 40% of the Texas primary results had been reported, Obama was up too. I'm not saying he's not going to win, I just think responsible journalism doesn't make mistakes like this that can color perceptions.

As if people wouldn't work for their "cause" or candidate if there weren't caucuses. People would still work to get out the vote if there were no caucuses. DUH.
