Cops Have ‘Person Of Interest’ In Atlanta Black Pride Organizer Durand Robinson’s Murder

The August murder of Durand Robinson, the Atlanta Black Pride organizer and Traxx bar co-owner who was shot to death in the middle of a downtown street, has thus far gone unsolved, with only theories about a carjacking gone bad. But Atlanta police announced they have identified a person of interest — somebody Robinson had helped out in the past — although the person is not in custody. That, and they have a cooperating witness, who’s suddenly dropped out of contact, and who the police would like to reconnect with. [video via]

Jason, who is the black guy that broke your heart? Clearly, it hurts you something terrible. I’m sorry that he left you, but you must move on and no longer continue to be the bitter queen that you are. I know, I know. He used to give it to you real hard and long, and you feel that he can never be replaced. You’re probably right on that one. But still. You’ve got to move on, Jason.
