Coulter Cacophony: Log Cabin Drop A Loathful Log

LCRepsH.jpg
Presidential hopefuls and their campaign managers aren’t the only people expressing their displeasure over Ann Coulter’s comments. Log Cabin Republicans’ baby-faced president Patrick Sammon had this to say:

Ann Coulter should be embarrassed by her anti-gay remarks at the Conservative Political Action Conference. Coulter’s words are not worthy of this event or our nation’s political dialogue. Intelligent people engage in political debates using ideas not insults. Unfortunately, she has made a career out of saying increasingly outrageous things just to garner headlines and shill her books. Ann Coulter is more interested in soundbites than substance and she has become more ridiculous than relevant. She obviously has no shame.

Are we the only ones who kept replacing Coulter’s name with Log Cabin Republicans?

I think gay bloggers need to take a pledge and never mention Coulter’s name ever again. All this harpy wants is more media attention so she can sell more books, and this is what we may be inadvertently giving her.

It is news only if this women says something even remotely insightful.

We disagree, in fact we’d be fine with it if every Republican event opened with a diatribe from this horse-faced neo-con sperm bank. Loathsome people are quite often rich and famous (see: Gibson, Mel). Let Ms. Coulter’s rhetoric be heard across the land for exactly what it is: a true reflection of the dark hateful Republican soul. Snap!

That’s what I love about Queerty, no fear to get politically involved, and a belief that your stance is justified. I may not always agree with your provocations, but I’m always glued to the page.
