Yesss!! so great to see this finally getting traction.

Tell all your friends about it… maybe we can shame nontrans gays and lesbians into doing the right thing here.

Tho, its more than sad that so many fail to practice social justice as they demand it. Thanks for doing the right Thing and publicising this.

Queerty should pay attention to this with all their trans-baiting and lesbophobia.

The difficult aspect of Trans rights are Gender Identity. Some transgendered persons do not relate to same-sex relationships and in a sexually discordant relationship should legally be able to marry.

If trans-folks hitch their wagon to gays, the chance of marriage is buckleys to none. It’s time for trans-identified persons to step out in their own movement as the Gay Movement has been stonewalled by the antipathy towards Same-Sex Marriage for clearly a decade.

What, pray tell, is the “right” thing, Lyssa? Slamming transfolk for their justifiable protest or rooting for a bigot to get some lame award?

Funny, I thought that was the epitaph on feminism’s mausoleum.

Well we had a whale of a time last night. A very happy, good-natured demonstration, lots of singing, chanting, and we outnumbered the ten or so ‘Bindel Fan Club’ members by a ratio of ten-to-one! To correct a misunderstanding we were there to protest Stonewall, not Julie Bindel directly, though there were a few placards for her, ‘Bindel 4 Pope’ being my personal favourite.
