Couple’s Fake Bomb Threat Exposes Heathrow’s Complete Unpreparedness For Actual Terrorists

Not only did a faux bomb threat cause authorities to needlessly apprehend a 72-year-old man at Heathrow (after his boyfriend, attempting to get revenge for some domestic spat, told Britain’s 999 emergency line his partner intended to blow himself up at the airport), but it also has British Airways racking up a bill as it offers optional counseling for all staffers adversely affected by the melee. On the plus side, at least it pointed out how utterly ill-equipped the terminal is at handling real terror threats! Way to go, gays.

Yes, it illuminates the airport’s ill-equipped ability to define a true terrorist attack, but moreso it showcases how recklessly vindictive a grown man can be. Way to go, gay guy.
