For the second straight year, Ron Paul has won CPAC’s presidential straw poll with 30 percent of the vote, putting Mitt Romney in his (second) place. Surely this would’ve been a much different story if CPAC let Fred Karger throw his name in the hat.
Alternatively, “CPAC once again demonstrates its opinions are utterly divorced from reality.”

Forget Paul—he’s unelectable on a national scale. What I liked about the straw poll was this: Chris Christie didn’t even throw his name in the hat . . . and got 6 percent! How cool is that? Here’s one gay patriot who hopes C.C. will be on the 2016 ticket.
