Daily Aural: Jay-Z, Kanye West, Lil Wayne, M.I.A & T.I
One of the things we absolutely love about hip-hop is how you can pile on the artists into one song, as evidenced by last night’s Grammy performance of “Swagger Like Us”. Plus, it’s great to see nine-months preggers M.I.A. jam it out with hip-hop’s cool kids club.
Wow. This is really terrible. Who watches the Grammies anymore tho? I mean, I know that I personally don’t care for watching all the major labels get together to circle jerk on each other. Same goes for all those contrived red carpet events. I can’t believe MIA consented to do this.
I much prefer Paper Planes, but I loved that MIA came out looking like she did. I’m sure all those little fake ass tv “personalities” are having a field day. Except for the whole 2nd line Mardi Gras thing, the Grammys sucked
I loved it! I must say I really like M.I.A. so call me biased. In fact let me put her on the iTunes now.
