HAMMING IT UP

Daniel Radcliffe Is Tired Of Getting Naked (And We’re Blaming Jon Hamm)

Harry Potter’s been shedding his wizardly image and much of his clothes as of late — from his turn in Equus to the hirsute homoerotic hedonism of Kill Your Darlings — but don’t expect Daniel Radcliffe to show up in Magic Mike 2 ’cause he’s done showing the full monty.

Though Radcliffe shares a tub with Jon Hamm in A Young Doctor’s Notebook, he drew the line at nudity.

“I think there was a discussion about possible nudity for one scene and I think my comment was, ‘I got naked in three films last year, please can I not?’,” Radcliffe told the Telegraph. “At some point everyone’s going to start assuming I’m an exhibitionist.”

Where would we get that idea?

Radcliffe has been nude in Horns, The F Word and Kill Your Darlings, which features graphic gay sex scenes that have left audiences clutching their wands. For his bathtime with Hamm, however, he’s shied away — probably because he didn’t want to get outshone by the Hammaconda.

“We don’t (get naked) in this series, much to everyone’s disappointment,” Radcliffe said, speaking the God’s honest truth. But it’s also important to remember that Danny Rads has been peeling off his junior men’s apparel not just for kicks, but also to hone his craft — so less LiLo in The Canyons and more Julianne Moore in everything she’s been in.

“People have given me the opportunity to work on really interesting things and get better,” the 24-year-old thespian said. “Getting to work on this material was hugely freeing.”

Yeah, we saw how huge it was [NSFW]. Still, how adorbs would Daniel Radcliffe be shaking that tiny little tush next to Joe Manganiello, before hopping inside of him like a Russian nesting doll?
