David Frum Credits American Gays For Turning Halloween Into Giant International Drag Show

David Frum, former speechwriter to George W. Bush, says Halloween’s international “craze” is all thanks to you homosexuals! Even in Germany, where Halloween “has become an adult craze” “since 2000,” they’ve got you to thank, as does the U.K., Japan, and yes, even America! That’s because what started in San Francisco’s Castro spread to West Hollywood and Greenwich Village and then the rest of the world, where adult men and women turn every possibly profession — doctor, nurse, Chilean miner, Jersey Shore cast member — into a sluttier version of the original. “And after a while,” argues Frum, “the straights imitated.” I have no idea what he’s talking about:
