David Geffen, Vain? You’re Kidding Us Carly Simon
No it wasn’t Kris Kristofferson or Warren Beatty, but David Geffen that Carly Simon considered “so vain” — at least according to a new track that, when played in reverse, reveals the target’s first name. David, of course, is a big gay, and at the time was head of Simon’s Elektra label. But don’t confuse “enjoys having cute younger guys as his lovers,” like boyfriend Jeremy Lingvall, as vanity. That’d be jumping to conclusions.

Not all gay men chase kids. Some of us are in wonderful relationships with other adult men. Why is that so hard to believe?
Jeremy Lingvall would have never dated this dinosaur if he was only making $40,000 a year. I’d give this relationship a few more months and then Mr. Lingvall will turn into record producer Jeremy Lingvall or director Jeremy Lingvall. Isn’t that how it always works???

Wrong David or Carly Simon was really a slut!
