If it is done in a manner that brings alive her story, I think it’s great that Anne Frank’s story continues to live on in another film adaptation of her diary.
If gay people cannot relate to Mamet, hopefully they can relate to Anne’s story about having hope and courage in a dark age.

I’m sure it will end with the Franks getting a set of Steak Knives. Mammet has lost it creatively he has turned his bitterness at the world inward and his work has suffered. Hes now a hack.

Bruce Vilanch tells a story of a stage production in which Pia Zadora (!!!) played the part of Anne Frank. She was so bad that at a point where a Nazi patrol appears on the scene, someone in the audience screamed:
“THEY’RE HIDING IN THE ATTIC!!”

Why would any gay person care about misogynist Bush-lover David Mamet?
Will this be animated or live action?
