Dawson McAllister Stopped Promoting Exodus International, Started Promoting a Hate Group

After pressure from Clear Channel to cut its on-air and web promos of Exodus International, the radio show Dawson McAllister Live caved and pulled out all mentions of Alan Chamber’s conversion therapy outfit. In its place? Promos for Focus On The Family. Yeah, that’s better. [Edge]

Actually, the new Head Hypocrite of Focus On the Family has decided that some of their gay issues need to take a back burner. I don’t know what they will swing to the fore at this point, but that quote has made the blogosphere.

If they actually DID focus on the family, then I’d have no problem with it. Unfortunately, their activities have nothing to do with families, aside from harrassing families like mine.

I hope their new spokesdouche makes good on his promise to be a little less of a fucktard. We shall see.
