And what does the web browser history of Gareth Williams, the MI6 spy found dead inside a padlocked North Face duffel bag in his bathtub, reveal? He liked visiting bondage websites!
But who doesn’t? (Worth noting: That detail comes from an “examination of his phones,” which means he was accessing bondage mobile sites? Way to be tech savvy!)
Some new details leaking out from the investigation of Williams’ death reveals investigators also found a whole wardrobe full of dresses and shoes, worth about 15,000 pounds, some of them with the tags still on them. Maybe he was waiting to wear some of them to the upcoming “drag cabaret” shows he had tickets to?
The new information doesn’t exactly answer the biggest question (How did he die?), but it certainly clues us in to the more personal aspects of Williams life. Still unresolved: How Williams managed to be locked inside a duffel bag. Investigators are taking a wild guess on this one: with the help of another person.
How about we take this to the next level?

how sad and terrifying. so it seems, something went wrong in his bondage play and he died of hunger and thirst, i’m guessing. That’s a terrible way to die.

He was a spy. MI6 is the agency for which James Bond mythically worked.
Chances are this is could all be a set up. Yeah, there are plenty of gay British spies in history, but there are also many occasions when people are murdered and set up.
