America’s number one homophobic she-hag has got to be anti-gay talk radio host and president of Mission America, Linda Harvey. Harvey claims that homosexuality doesn’t exist, she supports anti-gay bullies, says that gays shouldn’t teach children and that LGBT doctors will turn kids queer. But she’ll sue anyone who points out that she also supports murdering gays.
Truth Wins Out blogger Wayne Besen recently pointed out all of Ms. Harvey’s anti-LGBT fuckery along with the fact that Harvey supports Uganda’s “Kill the gays” bill. Harvey then threatened to sue Besen for telling the truth defamation… and God we hope she goes through with it.
Besen explains why her lawsuit would be so welcome:
“Bring it on. We hope that such a case would be aired on television so we can expose Harvey’s vile words in a court of law and in the court of public opinion. It’s bizarre that Harvey is upset because we quoted her verbatim, which tells me that on some level she is ashamed of her own hateful rhetoric.”
Harvey going to court to prove she’s not a blood-thirsty homophobe is about as smart as Oscar Wilde going to court to prove he’s not a sodomite. Libel cases have a way of airing out a lot of dirty laundry, so be careful who you threaten, Miss Harvey— we’ve got our Jiffy Pop warming on the stove and our DVRs set to capture your Court TV appearance, betch.
Actually, it’s time to take people like this to court under the slander & libel laws. These are not criminal laws, but civil tort action suits based on someone’s knowingly false, malicious words used to destroy the lives and livelihoods of other people for no purpose. And I dare say, the entire constellation of the NO GAYS! movement, Perkins, Sprigg, Gallagher, Fischer, Santorum, Bachmann, and this woman, have simply engaged in giving false testimony to dozens of courts and congress itself. They’ve perjured themselves while they were doing it, and well, let’s just sue them first.

Another crazy heffa.

@Robert in NYC: Not all the nutbags are Republicans. Have you forgotten Ruben Diaz? Fred Phelps? Even Bill Clinton, who is the reason we had DADT harming our families and our livelihood? It wouldn’t have had the votes to override a veto if he had done the right thing.

Riker, if Clinton hadn’t enacted DADT, NO gay man or woman would have been able to serve, period. It was a compromise with the GOP and all that could be achieved at the time. It was either that or face a GOP filibuster. Since then, Clinton has since declared 100% support for marriage equality. Name one GOP senator or congressman or woman currently serving supporting it. I can’t name one compared to the number of democrats who do.
Ruben Diaz is one of a few democrats, thankfully not in our national government. Fred Phelps was once a democrat and so too was Rick Perry, now all avowed right wingers. There are far fewer democrats kowtowing to the nutbaggery we’re seeing in the extremists and radicals in the GOP, including Civil Libertarians and Tea Partyers. The five current GOP candidates are against marriage equality and did not support repeal of DADT either.

WHY have I not heard of this bitch before? You should post more on this/her, and less on your more frequent “articles”…
