Rather than wait around for South Carolina Atty. Gen. Henry McMaster to make good on his threats of prosecution, Craigslist is instead suing him. Filing suit yesterday, the company wants a court to declare Craigslist is immune from any liability its web listings may bring — something McMaster doesn't agree with. But maybe he's taking the the hint: While he's still maintaining his threat to sue, his tone is noticeably calmer.
