Radio host and Second Amendment champion Alex Jones is the guy who started the online petition to have Piers Morgan deported for challenging gun nuts—the one that garnered more than 100,000 signatures and neccessitated a White House response.
He’s also the guy who warned that “1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms!”
Well, as is usual with these right-wing reactionaries, Jones also has a theory about gay people: In 2010, he told listeners he’d seen documents proving the Feds are engaged in a chemical-warfare operation to turn people gay and decrease the population. How? By pumping MSG into kettle chips, juice boxes and other junk foods.

One thing that I have learned in life is that no one person is either totally void of any accurate information nor is that same person with all correct information either. This is the nature of being human, the nature of one who genuinely seeks truth. True, scientists have discovered that certain chemicals found in commonly discarded plastics have caused hermaphroditic fish. As far as fluoride, I don’t know. What I do know is being to the “right” politically speaking these days has to do with being associated with the Religious Right movement. In this, conservatives of today are not like what they were many decades ago, that is they were, once upon a time, Constitutionalists. Jones is of the original mindset of the Founding Fathers. A Constitutionalist who is not affiliated with, associated with any religion. In his profound passion, in his witnessing the rendering impotent this document, and in his frustration, struggling to get people to wake up to what is happening, and as a mere mortal human, he is bound to make hasty comments. In retrospect, just as modern conservatives have always seen us gays unfairly as a mere sex act (through the lens of the Religious Right) an nothing more, neither should we Judge this person by one potential misinformation he has publicly stated eithe

Truth is they were philosophically and religiously diverse and not at all of “one mind” with regard to the new republic and its government. As for Alex Jones and his notion that the US Constitution is being “rendered impotent,” I can only say I believe history shows he is entirely incorrect. The document is proving its flexibility and its brilliance all the time. Retreating into sentimental and inaccurate understandings of the “founding fathers” is the folly of lightweights.

I love visiting conspiracy sites because around 95% of the people commenting on them are religious right wing psychos (like there’s any other kind!)
Many of them believe that leftists, atheists, gays, muslims, jews, feminists, government etc… are all conspiring together to take down “christian America”. In fact, their whole way of thinking is that if you don’t share their religious beliefs, you’re part of the “illuminati agenda”.

I am not affiliated with nor part of any religion. For no greater blood has been shed then that of the blood shed in the name of religion. Religion and BLIND patriotism are used to control the masses.
