ABC proved once again that it’s the gayest, whitest network when it introduced a gay couple on last night’s Desperate Housewives. We admit, we were worried the queers would be just like those other guys, but we should have more faith in series creator Marc Cherry.
Tuc Watkins and Kevin Rahm definitely seem suited to take gay television characters in a more palatable – and funnier – direction. Check out this clip of the boys meeting an over-eager Teri Hatcher and poke fun at popular stereotypes. Now, if only Desperate could get some black people who aren’t accessories to murder and mentally imbalanced.

“we were worried the queers would be just like those other guys, but we should have more faith in series creator Marc Cherry.”
Why? Marc Cherry is a homocon and they only know how to present gays as stereotypes.

Just like Ann Donahue, the executive producer of the CSI franchise is a conservative lesbian. We’ve seen how CSI has presented LGBTQ’s on their shows over the years.
“Oh, they’d try to treat you like, ‘Hey, you’re cool, and I’m cool,’ and I’d think, I’m not cool! I’m still against abortion, you know what I mean? What, do you think I’m not for the death penalty? It’s interesting to me how people think that if you’re gay, you’re left-wing, and it’s like, No, each one of us is different.”

Hollywood is homophobic, because the LGBTQ’s in Hollywood are cut from the same cloth as any other rightwinger–the only difference is homocons hate the gays even more than the rightwingers.

Second that, Paul! Exactly WHY should anyone “have more faith in series creator Marc Cherry”? Has Queerty seen a different version of the series than I have. One without a sociopathic gay/bi teenager who blithely killed a woman in a hit and run before seducing his mother’s bi lover? One without eternal flame for money and capon Alec Mapa? One without the child molestor next door who dressed as Santa for Wisteria Lane’s block party?
Just asking?

The one guy was a real asshole to Susan. (I have no idea what these characters names are, yet.)

Leland, we’re agreeing on many things here. I believe that’s one of the seven signs of the apocalypse 8^)

I hate how shows are stilled created for fat ugly white men. Any diversity is just for the entertainment value to a fat ugly white male viewer, no matter what the show.
We think we’re living in such advanced times, but we’re not, and apathy isn’t helping.

LOL, Paul! My mother would have said, “It’s a sign of the coming of the Lord!” Shall we meet for a drink before? BTW: I hear the Third Horseman is quite hot!

“I hear the Third Horseman is quite hot!”
Very hot! But REALLY judgmental. Total downer 8^)

Wow, those guys are pretty, um, awful. This is what progress looks like?

I hope to see more of the new “gay” neighbors. I love the storylines. Although what ever happened to the hole in Catherine’s floorboards last week? Was somebody buried underneath it? I hope to see the outcome. My partner and I love the show!!
