Kristian Digby, a host of a couple BBC shows, was found dead in his home in what investigators suspect may have been a sex game gone bad. He was 32.
His body appears to have been found by his ex-boyfriend, a police officer. The circumstances of his death remain “unexplained”; suicide is not said to be a factor. But true to the gay stereotype, Digby’s death will forever be attached to sexual deviance.

It’s done by straight and gay and bi people. Nothing gay about it.
Along with the “auto” form, couples have been known to engage in “choking games” as well. Unless your partner is an EMT, ER doc or nurse, and unless you have appropriate medical equipment on hand, and unless you can get to an ER in under 90 seconds, you’re putting your life/brain at risk just for an orgasm. Even with immediate intervention, the odds are stacked heavily against you.
Whether Mr Digby was suicidal, thrill-seeking or murdered will have to be determined based on the evidence and investigation.

Kristian was a great man, a great tv host and a great inspiration. He will be remembered for those things not because he was gay or was into kinky sex, if that be the case. For Kristian being gay was just another part of his life he never played it up, threw it in people’s faces or hid it. For those reasons I am sorry to see him go but will continue to enjoy his shows in reruns. RIP Kristian.
