Did Security Cameras Catch Who Stabbed These 2 Cross-Dressers in Turkey?

Ugh. We hate these news items. Really. “Yet another ‘hate crime’ in Turkey against two transvestites who were attacked in their homes and stabbed. One died immediately, and the other is in a coma in hospital, headlines the secular daily paper Vatan [on Feb. 18]. The attack happened [Feb. 17] in a third-floor apartment in a crumbling block in the European part of Istanbul, Fatih, where the majority of the population is Muslim. The three attackers fled and police are currently examining security camera footage from the area in the hope of finding clues which will lead to their capture. Murders of transvestites and transsexuals in Turkey are fairly common.” [ANSAmed]
