So Erykah Badu’s excellent strip tease video, for “Window Seat,” which she’s getting fined $500 for recording in Dallas’s Dealey Plaza, where John F. Kennedy was shot? Wanda Sykes delivered her own version of the ripe-for-parodying clip on her mostly unfunny, ratings-starved television show. Lest our own opinion influence your thoughts, we’ll simply post it above, and let you decide whether Wanda is succeeding in entertaining her Fox audience.

I’m surprised Queerty would try to bash Wanda after all she’s done for the gay community without being poked or prodded to like so many other celebs. She wasn’t at risk of being outed, she chose to come out, and her new stand up shows talk about homosexuality openly and honestly.
She’s doing more for us than most people so I think you should hope she’s funny to as many people as possible. I’ve never heard so many cheers for gay rights than on her stand up show on HBO, and her audience is not mostly gay, it’s a very large mixed bag of people which is why she stands out.
Do you attack Ellen this way? The woman waddles over a coffee table for ratings. Why does she get respect from Queerty when Wanda doesn’t?
