Digging Deep

Dina McGreevey means business. Thesoon-to-be-ex-wife of Gay American Jim McGreevey asked the former NJ Governor’s current lover to turn over his bank statements. Apparently Dina wants to look a little closer at Mark O’Donnell’s finances, but a judge says O’Donnell need not turn over all his files, just records of accounts he shares with McGreevey. Let this be a lesson to us all: don’t get involved with drama-ridden former politicos whose former flame is a total nutter. [Newsday]

Yeah… You guys at Queerty are dead wrong here… She should take him to the cleaners. If Jim McGreevy’s lover is financially supporting him, I’m sure her attorneys will find a way to make a case for and negotiate for funds she and their child may be entitled to.

Jim McGreevy made his bed. He should be commended for his ultimate honesty, but now he’s got to deal with the consequences, just like any other spouse in a divorce.

It’s a miserable business. Good luck to them all.

She should take him to the cleaners?! Seriously?

Jeez. He’s not the first guy in the world to do this. Would it be better off if he was still living with her and denying who he truly was. Ok, he fucked up. It’s time for her to move on with her own life.

And, anyway, since two men can’t get married she has absolutely no right whatsoever to go after McGreevey’s man.

Mcsleezy is probably trying to under report his own income and living off his rich lover and trying not to pay anything for his kid – which he created to advance his political career.

Please, this does not happen in a straight relationship.

This cunt need to get over it already.

I always got the gay vibe from him and that was from the TV

Oh No, she never had a clue. Not even when he would turn her face down and fuck her from behind. No….Not a clue.

I guess she feels she should be able to afford a clue now that her dumb ass has been put on notice.

Well, it’s obvious which readers have a clue about divorce proceedings and which don’t.

This doesn’t happen in a straight relationship? Get a clue. Do you know anyone who’s had an acrimonious divorce? It’s uglier than you can imagine… and it can go on for YEARS! People get vindictive and they get sneaky… On BOTH sides… And the lawyers go down every single avenue they can to either save their client’s money or get more money for the client…and increase their own fees, of course.

Dina needs to start her own life instead of using bunny boiler tactics in her ex-husband`s life. It`s not like Mark was the “other woman”.

She may be a flake, but it’s no secret here in NJ that McGreevey is trying to stiff her on child support.

She’s doing what a lot of spouses do in a divorce— uncover her exes actual worth.

The key here is that it’s only the accounts that are jointly held that are being considered. That’s fair game in divorce.

Stop defending the guy just because he’s a “gay American”. His conduct was unconscionable.

Appointing his crush, a foreign national who couldn’t even get the needed security clearances, to head the state homeland security department (in the wake of 9-11 in a state that was directly impacted by those events) was an outrageous abuse of office.
