Kyrsten Sinema added a clause to the bill that would grant unmarried couples, both same and opposite-sex, many of the rights of marriage but without the name.” [365 Gay]

What an awesome turn around! There must be some progressive thought on the subject to put that on the plate. To bad it didn’t go through. Kind of like the Cuban issue.
I really believe that that’s how it will work the best. I don’t know what all of the rights are, but if it was sufficient that would be great progress. The name in itself is too much like buying into hetero-doxy.
