Does The Big Gay Ice Cream Truck Deserve An Award for Sugary Goodness?

Every year, the Vendy Awards honor New York City’s most prolific street vendors, serving up schwarma, beef patties, and hot dogs to the masses as they make their way home as dawn approaches, or as they make their way to work (and hopefully not forced to sit on the toilet for an hour — this is street meat, after all). But dessert delivers receive their own special category, which has opened up a new world of possibilities for Doug Quint, or as many passersby know him as, The Big Gay Ice Cream Truck guy. He’s a finalist in this year’s Vendys, and we’re sure he’d love it if you sprinkled some love his way.
