Oh look, it is that actor guy who doesn’t mind when people speculate about his sexuality. James Franco plays beat poet Allen Ginsberg in Howl, a film that’s been screening at Outfest but won’t be available for mass consumption until the fall.
In Howl, you will see Mr. Franco kiss another man. You will also see colorful animations that illustrate some of the scenes from Ginsberg’s poem. They are sort of frightening! And a little bit out of place! The obscenity trial that “Howl” created is also part of the storyline. It gives Jon Hamm the chance to star in another period piece. Mary-Louise Parker has a cameo!

I want to see him come out. I’ll be waiting patiently.

Oh look, it’s a blog being snarky. Oh look, we have nothing to say, like a review, so oh look, we can something, which,oh look, we seem like we’re saying something.

The voice impression is pretty impressive.
Is that a poem?

I can’t wait to see this.

Zero interest in seeing a movie about a member of NAMBLA who once wrote an angry poem.

I don’t know about this trailer but I what I would want to see James Franco in is some movie about a hooker, where he’s the hooker and there’s lots of nudity and sexual situations. What?!? I’m just sayin’.

Before I can make up my mind someone needs to explain why I’m feeling they hired a Muppet to play his unreal-looking beard.

Does anything fucking happen in this movie? The trailer doesn’t do a good job of making the film look interesting.
