Thomas becomes besotted. Let’s face it, he borderline stalks Jimmy. He turns into an Edwardian sex pest. It’s pretty bad. But then he goes on this huge journey and he’s being manipulated by O’Brien into thinking this guy feels the same way. And he knows he doesn’t. The fallout from my kissing Jimmy was really dramatic. David Evans, great British director, he shot Sunday’s episode and he put in the extra scenes where I’m waiting in my room and Jimmy’s going upstairs to tell. It’s almost Hitchcockian in a way. Can I say cockian?”

I love that Rob James-Collier has fun playing this character. Every interview I’ve seen him in, he comes off as being totally genuine and very funny, not to mention that he is probably one of the handsomest men on the face of the planet. You go, Rob!!!

Master Bates came to the rescue.
Stupid
In the actual quote, the actor says that Thomas is a “sex pest,” which is British for a sexual harasser. The title has it wrong as “sex beast.”

@1EqualityUSA: Yes, and it was obvious and fun to watch from the time Bates overheard the conversation in the hallway…you just knew he was going to save him……”then give me the ammunition and I’ll fight”.
He has to be my favorite character.
