Neil Patrick Harris Singing ‘Sugar Daddy’ From the Broadway Musical ‘Hedwig and the Angry Inch’ at the 68th annual Tony Awards.
“What a great season on Broadway. It’s just been incredibly diverse. Whether you like men dressed as women or drag queens, there’s something for everyone, ladies and gentlemen,” said host Hugh Jackman at the 68th annual Tony Awards on June 8th in New York City.
The most queer performance of the night, in ever sense of the word, was Neil Patrick Harris’ (NPH) performance of the song ‘Sugar Daddy’ from the Broadway musical ‘Hedwig and the Angry Inch.’ NPH give an energetic performance that included giving a lap dance to Orlando Bloom and Sting, cuddling with Kevin Bacon, licking Samuel L. Jackson’s glasses, and smooching his real-life husband David Burtka.

Before the performance, RuPaul took to the stage to explain what the musical is about and exactly what Hedwig’s ‘angry inch’ is: ““Hedwig is a transgender ‘Internationally ignored song stylist from east Berlin’ whose failed sex-change operation left her with an ‘Angry inch.’ It’s also a universal story of love and acceptance.”
How about we take this to the next level?
