Dumb.

Politics trumps excellence for the American Family Association. The right wingers are asking concerned parents to keep their kids hope on April 25, the National Day of Silence, which combats homophobia in school. [Joe.My.God]

Who’s surprised? Those hateful nuts don’t want their children educated, they want them programmed; not taught how to think, taught WHAT to think.

What will their children do without their “hope”?
I expect you mean “home”, but the idea of children without hope has something to say.

I got the AFA action alert and thought it was really interesting that in their portrayal of lawrence king, they said he was staying at a home for ‘abused, neglected, and severely emotionally disturbed’ children [their quotes]. I then went to the website for the home and read about abused and neglected…but nothing about emotional disturbances. Its funny how those few extra words make a difference.

Hey, I take this “stay at home” stance to be progress for gays. We’re scaring the shit out of these folks…and as polls among even young evangelicals are showing, the hatred towards homosexuals is waning fast.

These folks have used every other scare tactic. Their gig is up.
