No, I didn’t, I made a valid point and engaged in a discussion. I never said she wasn’t worthy of attention. I have little interest in the story itself, only in your reaction to it.

You asked why we ‘Brits’ gave her the time of day – my question is ‘Isn’t that exactly what you, an American(?) did when you commented on this story on this American website?’

Whatever the reason behind your comment, haven’t you just answered your own query? If she’s not worth any attention, why did you feel compelled to share your point-of-view on a story about her?

It’s various media outlets doing just that which keeps her in the public eye.

Lily Allen’s 15 minutes is either over or at the 14:58 mark. She’s got the rest of her life to live as a has been who was nearly a never mind. At best, she is Amy Winehouse the sequel, but with less talent.
