Elton John + David Furnish Welcome Baby Boy Zachary

Congratulations to Elton John and David Furnish, 62 and 48, who welcomed son Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John, born via surrogate, on Christmas Day in California. If you’re as surprised as we, there’s a reason: John and Furnish had not revealed they were expecting. The new baby comes after last October’s failed attempt to adopt a HIV-positive baby from the Ukraine.

A 62 y/o drama queen with an addiction history and a 48 y/o sycophant, neither with parenting experience, who couldn’t pass a home-study for adoption, were able to buy a baby. I’m not opposed to this because they both have willys, but because of all the other psycho-social things that we know about this couple. The only hope is that they hire a good and stable caergiver, and stay out of it.

it’s great that gay couples can have kids if they want them…. but i’m concerned mostly about their age.
18-20years from now will the kid have his parents?
do they really have the energy to keep up with a toddler or teenager? or will all the responsibility be dumped onto a nanny?
i dunno. not the best scenario. I wish the kid all the best.
