Elton John Sues Georgia
No, it's not what you think. Elton John was not called "fag" at a rest stop or anything. Rather the tax authorities in the state of Georgia have allegedly overvalued his Atlanta penthouse condo by $900,000, resulting in an extra $16,000 per year in tax payments for the music legend.
Pardon us, Elton, but isn't $16K like pennies for someone with as much money as you have? We think Georgia would put the funds to better use than buying sparkly Versace blazers.

Speaking as someone who lives in Georgia, let me assure you that the State and Fulton County (which includes the City of Atlanta) will most assuredly misuse Elton's money. To be sure, it would be used in some horrible way to further restrict my rights.

Atlanta is a GREAT city. For a city in the heart of the bible belt gays have many freedoms here and it is full of beautiful southern MEN which is the reason Elton lives here part time.
Count your blessings my fellow Atlanta citizens and make sure to attend PRIDE this weekend at Piedmont Park.
It's not the $$$ that Elton would save, (He is not even involved on the suit) its the point that this commision over values many properties and have been investigated. (Several member have resigned) $16,000 a year could go towards the EJ Aids Foundation!
