Emory Students Will Have To Go Elsewhere For Their Chick-Fil-A Sandwiches

tweetStudent leaders across the country have petitioned their universities and student unions to give Chick-fil-A the boot because of its donations to anti-gay causes.

Well, it appears they’ve gotten their way at Emory Univeristy.

Think Progress reports that, according to the student newspaper the Emory Wheel, the new layout for the campus food court doesn’t include a spot for a Chick-fil-A.

Last year, the Student Government Association passed a resolution opposing the chain and asking the school to send it packing. Administrators denied the request. But students kept at it, and it appears they’ve won.

Ironically, Emory is located in Atlanta, only about 20 miles away from Chick-fil-A’s corporate headquarters. How you like them waffle fries?
