Well, this is rather embarrassing.
During a public debate over marriage equality in Ireland, Michael O’Leary, who opposes same-sex marriage, took to the microphone to express his outrage over the matter.
“We want family values!” he barked. “And we don’t want to see men and woman getting married! And that’s the holy all of it!”
The auditorium erupted with laughter, and O’Leary looked quite pleased with himself… until he realized his mistake. That’s when he grabbed the microphone again hoping to correct himself. But by that point, nobody cared what he had to say anymore.

It’s so peculiar how bigots use this as an defense — that somehow family values can only exist in straight families. They don’t understand that their gay counterparts hold the same diversity of values. That’s why we are fighting for the option to have the right to marry. They can’t wrap their tiny brains around the thin line — that we are more like them than they want to believe. Morality is not determined by sexual orientation.
