Entourage Promises Rex Lee To Keep Homophobic Jokes Only in the Script
Thought actor Rex Lee was just one of the boys on the set of Entourage? Not only is he persecuted and the butt of the jokes on the television series, but he’s also on the receiving end of homophobic and racial slurs off camera.
Lee, 40, says he “occasionally” hears naughty words thrown his way during taping of the show, where he plays the assistant-cum-agent Lloyd, often demoralized by boss Ari.
And that’s a surprise to Entourage creator Doug Ellin, who says that before the cameras start rolling again, he’ll “be speaking to everybody before we start filming again in March. It’s not something condoned or acceptable.”
Finally, an appropriate reaction when dealing with Hollywood homophobia.
Watch they’re just gonna drop him and hire another mo to harasse.
Maybe since his character is made fun of in the series the ppl involved feel THEY have a right to harasse him OUT of character b/c they think it’s OK since the series SHOWS THAT.

I wasn’t clear. They made mention of the problem, but in the last line they mentioned the creator tackling only the homophobia.
