A beautiful love story, but oh so painfully sad.

Strange how you have to search and search for this type of tragic love story between a man and a woman, but for LGBT people, they’re almost a dime-a-dozen.

That’s because there aren’t any states where heteros can’t marry each other.

What a beautiful story, but as @MikeE says, so sad that this couple could not marry in their home state. But that’ll change if we all keep pushing.

      The fight continues!

:'( This breaks my heart. Sure, 2013 was an amazing year for equality, but we are still so behind where we should be by now, and it’s too late for couples like them.

:( I remember first reading that Oregon Live article when it was first published. So sad to know Eugene has passed, and I feel bad for Eric. What a great romance they shared though.

What a wonderful story of enduring love and a sad commentary on a nation’s inability to figure out EQUALITY.
