Everyone Who’s Anyone Added Her Name To This List Of Obama Nuisances

From Hollywood to Silicon Valley to the pro sports world, boldface names have signed up for Freedom To Marry’s “Say I Do” campaign, which is sending an open letter to President Obama urging him to hurry up on this whole “evolving views” thing on gay marriage. Jane Lynch, Anne Hathaway, Ellen DeGeneres and Portia DeGeneres, Eric McCormack, Lily Tomlin, Jane Wagner, Melissa Etheridge, Mya and Rufus Wainwright, Tony Kushner, and David Geffen, are lending their names, as are Twitter creator Jack Dorsey, Facebook’s Chris Hughes and Sean Parker, Mark Pincus of Zynga, and the NFL’s Brendon Ayanbadejo and Scott Fujita.

      Interesting, the celebs are getting more agressive AFTER the gay community got more agressive.

      So the Gay community’s refusal to sit back and let politicians do nothing, or to let GaGa team up with Target is now maybe helping to push others to take more of a stand than just giving interviews to magazines talking about how they love us.

      Not a bad sign.

      Obama is aware that the public majority supports marriage equality. What he thought is, “Big deal”. Obama does what the CIA wants him to do. He once said, “Close Guantanimo” Then he got elected. He said, “Marriaqe Equality” Then he got elected. Obama said, “Yes, protet whistleblowers” then he put them in prison and tortured them. He said repeal DADT, then he instructed his Justice Dept to fight to keep DADT (even AFTER, the house and senate voted to phase-out DADT).

      I can’t scream it loud enough, It is what you DO, not what you SAY. Obama does exactly what the Republicans and CIA demand. Just because he uses pretty words and lofty concepts in public, doesn’t mean a thing when he takes action AGAINST his lofty words. Don’t be confused, Obama says whatever he must and then takes action following the CIA command. Who paid for Obama’s $300,000 ivy-league tuition? Why was his first job out of college with BIC – an admitted CIA front organization?

      The more you research Obama, the more he looks suspiciously corrupt. Remember, it’s what you DO and not what you SAY!

      Most voters do not support gay marriage.Obama still have to get elected again,now the stupid gays want him to sacrifice himself and be a one term president just to here him say he supports gay married.Even if he came out and said that nothing would change tomorrow.

      @Dave:

      For real right?

      The fact that the US is still a right wing country-it was never going to change, Clinton was even more to the right-inherently and he has done what he has done is phenomenal.

      Look at the way they all treat Obama because he is supporting gay rights? Ae these Hollyweird’os blind?
      @Cam:

      It’s also interesting how people who live really comfortable and privileged lives in liberal bubbles, think that everyone gives a shit about their ‘just jumped on board-where were you during prop 8??-movement’ when they live in the most religiously fundamental Christian country in the Western world.

      Yep, that’s the thing. Obama will come out and support marriage equality and be a first term president? Right.

      Thank god for all that GOP union hate because it now means there is a small chance for the left to get their act together and vote.

      @Dave:

      Obama needs to get votes from his party.

      Dave, here is something you may want to think about. Obama and the Dems came in with an overwhelming number of votes. Then they spent the next 2 years ignoring the base, and people like you defended them saying they needed to move to the right to Keep votes.

      Well two years later, the demoralized left of the party stayed away from the polls and the Dems lost the house and lost members in the Senate. That is WHY they panicked and pushed the DADT repeal through during the lame duck, and why Obama lobbied for it’s passage that time, and why they stopped defending DOMA in court.

      No party has ever stayed in power thinking that they had to become the OTHER party in order to stay there.

      President Nitwit can’t even make his mind up to release a portion of the strategic, petroleum reserves to help lower the record high gas prices.

      I guess he’s far too busy playing hoops and golf these days.
