1990s gay-porn star Ryan Idol, née Marc Anthony Donais, has been sentenced to 12 years in state prison after beating his ex-girlfriend about the head with a toilet tank lid.
According to the victim’s testimony at trial, Donais entered the woman’s apartment the night of Sept. 5, 2009, and told her, “I came over here to kill you.” The two had been involved in a relationship, but the woman—whose name is being withheld because she is a domestic violence victim—said she cut it off when she caught him having sex with his male lover.
The woman said Donais stormed into her bathroom while she was taking a bath in her 48th Street residence and began to beat her with the porcelain [toilet] lid until “I felt blood gushing down my shoulders.”
Th 46-year-old adult performer had previously sought a new trial, which Judge Troy L. Nunley ultimately denied. So it sounds like Idol has a very long, very hard 12 years ahead of him.

I’m always surprised when people dating porn stars seem shocked when they get cheated on. I’m not saying all porn stars cheat, however, it is widely acknowledged by the stars themselves that porn is a very sexually casual world and so are most of the people that go into it.

Twenty years ago, yes, he was one of the hottest bodies and faces gay porn ever had to offer. And sexually, he wasn't inept at the mechanics, but there was little to no passion in his performances. These spousal abuse laws are good in rare cases however we are loading up the prisons with at best should be misdemeanor assaults. And in Texas gays do a good job of ratting each other out and the Baptist hillbilly DAs and police are only too happy to throw queers in prison. The Texas prison system has had enough and has been adjusting prison terms downwards and giving prisoners credit 4 to 1 for every day served.
In Dallas county 180,000 males go through the county jail per year . One third for spouse abuse, one third for ratty drug possessions , 20 % for DWI, the remainder 10 percent are violent offenders. oh and add 5 % for unemployed men not paying child support.

I agree. People can really do some nasty things in a broken relationship. You have a jealous partner finding out about an affair. Wouldn’t be unheard of for her to make shit up to take it from a simple assault to attempted murder. He’s got no defense at that point after assaulting her like that.
