If you listen to a radio program called the Dog House Morning Show long enough, chances are you'll hear someone say "faggot." The syndicated San Francisco show didn't disappoint! Dog House host Elvis (real name: Dan Lay) called a random number on the air, accusing the man who answered of "stealing an NFL team flag from his car. When the man said he didn't watch football, Elvis replied "What kind of man doesn't watch football. What are you a (bleeped out by station)? The man hung up on Elvis, who calls him back and a woman answers the phone. Elvis then allegedly said, 'Where is that butt sniffer I was just talking to?'" Elvis, who by his own admission has been fired for stunts before, has yet to yield a peep from GLAAD.

no call from glaad, because he's some random nobody?
I'd hardly call his a San Francisco show. As the article you lined states, he broadcasts out of Vegas and his show airs on KFRH there as well.
Moreover, 92.7 used to be a gay-friendly dance station before it was bought by homophobic new owners in September who proceeded to fire most of the staff.
I suppose someone will call to lodge a protest. Those guys just laugh at that. I have a better idea. Let's carry the joke further. Since he gets off on assaulting strangers like that, well, we know what he looks like. Why doesn't somebody just walk up to this macho man out of the blue and smack him in the mouth for that remark. I'd do it if I wasn't in L.A.. Guarantee he won't be laughing. His audience would be once they found out about it, though.
Let me rant. We need to get these two thousand years of religious indoctrination out of our system. And with it, all the lies and distortions that have been heaped on us. Alexander the Great was able to conquer the world because he could keep a huge army on the road for years on end. It's historical record what kept that army marching merrily along. See the movie "300" about the Spartans at the battle of Thermopylae? Aesthetically stunning, but grossly inaccurate about the makeup of Spartan society. Homosexuality wasn't just encouraged, it was REQUIRED as a bonding mechanism for warriors. It was in their legal code. Worked like crazy for the Spartans. Shouldn't wonder they cut that part out of a Hollywood version. The Athenians, on the other hand, were more equitable. You didn't HAVE to be gay or bisexual, but it certainly helped in social advancement. LOL And don't get me started on the Romans, or the Samurai, or the Ottomans, etc..
We are WHOLLY a part of nature's plan. There is nothing wrong with us. It is the monotheist religious fanatics that hate nature and have attempted to pervert the concept of Natural Law. Maybe it was the historical memory of what we can be that has them so agitated. They gave the world a thousand years of darkness. Our social progress into the modern world began when people started to reject religion in the Renaissance and see it for what it was.
We need to stand up and broaden out shoulders.
Thank you, Queerty, for letting me rant. LOL
@ChristopherJ: LOL. Exactly. No call from GLAAD because it's obviously an obscure, vulgar morning show with some idiot calling people and playing random pranks on them. If Howard Stern had said it, sure, but this isn't anything to get worked up over.
Invoking the Spartans and so on only hurts our case against those who equate homosexuality with pedophilia.
@ hyhybt: my point was that we've been around forever and we've been a success. BTW: When it comes to Greek warriors doin' each other, pedophilia is not necessarily an issue. Hot guys with muscles are what comes to people's minds. The Greeks had rules to protect the "dignity" of boys all about how and when. The ancient Greeks were a very sophisticated people. You'd make a better case equating the catholic church with pedophilia.
Re: The Spartans: Additionally, the Spartan thinking was that by encouraging young men to form strong emotional partnerships, including sexual bonds, it would promote troop "cohesion." Sound ironic at all in light of our current issues with the military? Worked like crazy for the Spartans. The battle of Thermopylae is true.
The ancients had taboos against pedophilia with death sentences for breaking them. In the case of the Greeks, anal sex by an older man and an adolescent was forbidden – on pain of death. Also the age of consent was basically puberty because lifespans in those days were much, much shorter. Besides, if you're going to start ragging on homosexuals and pedophilia in those very different days, you need to ask yourself what do you suppose straight guys were doing?
I understand your point; it's just too easy to take the wrong way, for those so inclined.
(by the way, my understanding is that priests are slightly *less* likely than the average population to abuse children. It's just that that church systematically covered it up. Which, I suppose, is similar enough to your point anyway.)
LOL: if you count all those in the church that aided and abetted by covering up, that would shoot the hell out of the statistic. Under the law they're supposed to be culpable too.
Don't take me the wrong way. I strongly believe that children should be protected and allowed to have a childhood, and then make their own choices of their own volition. The ancient world had a different set of circumstances and different priorities. But the point about us, and our rightful place in the world, is the same. We do not detract from the world, we are among its very greatest contributors.
This man needs to have his penis and balls chopped off Hostel 2 style so we can start calling him the faggot! ;-)
I totally agree with you "ROMEO".
We (as group) have contributed far more than our fair share to human civilization, and we continue to do so — in spite of a pernicious faction of breeder termites whose only function in life is to pollute the gene pool and continue their non- productive existence simply to fulfill a delusional monotheistic mandate to destroy the lives of other people who don't conform to their stagnant and dangerous lunacies.
