Feeling good about Grey’s

Grey’s Anatomy’s writing team worked with the Kaiser Foundation to educate its audience on HIV-transmission between mothers and infants. They based an episode on the idea. The results were striking, after the episode 46% of the audience had a more fact-based view on transmission. Who said TV isn’t good for you?

I remember that episode. I feel like a heal for not knowing that mothers can now manage to not pass the virus onto their children – I blame a long term monogomous relationship for being out of the loop on the latest advances in living with STD’s!
