He’s a shock comedian. His whole shtick is to cuss every other word for the shock value. He probably used the word in his book because he knew it would piss off a bunch of queens who wouldn’t get that it’s all a big joke and provide him with some free press.

Leary is getting a lot of attention by dissing disabled people and gay people.

He didn’t title the chapter, “We’d Hate You Even If You Weren’t A Nigger”. So clearly, Leary does believe in the power of words; contary to what he claims.
