Augusten Burroughs has been feverishly at work on his new memoir, A Wolf At The Table, but found some time to post the tome's cover. The gay author's website describes the book thus:
The author of Running with Scissors delves into new territory with his most personal and unexpected memoir yet. In A Wolf at the Table, Augusten Burroughs makes a quantum leap forward into untapped emotional terrain: the radical pendulum swing between love and hate, the unspeakably terrifying relationship between father and son, and a child's longing for unconditional love.
Apparently Burroughs isn't big on sharing: the reader who sent this along tells us Amazon doesn't even have the cover image. Suckers.
A Wolf At The Table comes out April 29, 2008.
Good Lord, how is this hack still getting published? How many "autobiographies" can one dull person write? Go away!!!!
Yes, He does seem to be quite fascinated with himself.
of course he is fascinated with himself!!! HES GAY! DUH!
You're right, Randall - Gay people are more fascinating than the rest. Thanks for recognizing it!
He's an overrated fucking bore. So sick of hearing about his fug ass.
personally I'm looking forward to it, he cracks me up! all of you other people are just haters! ha
and griffin is right!
If you don't like him, don't read his books. There, that was simple.
but of course, being nasty bitches you are, you can't leave it at that, can you? you do realize you sound jealous I hope
I like his writing, he's hilarious!..what have you complainers accomplished?
I love his writing. Ken is right - y'all sound jealous.
Obviously you haven't read his books. They are hilarious! His life is obviously much more interesting that yours if he's able to get published and sell his books and even have a movie made. If YOU are so much more interesting why don't you prove it but writing something brilliant here instead of creeping out from under your rock for a quick jab. Get a life…
He is the best! Such a funny guy who has been through so much. I can't wait!
Though I ate up "Running With Scissors," it was so self-absorbed. And really didn't mention that Augusten Burroughs (his nom de plume) has a brother with Asperger's syndrome. So, Burroughs? Meh. Here's the link to his brother's page:

Are you kidding?!! I love his writing and his humanity. Rock on, Augusten!
