      But it was not clear to me if the relationship between pilots is totally platonic, or if they did something about it. Were they real boyfriends?

      This movie could really change the way people see us, much like Brokeback Mountain did. To fall in love is wonderful, to fight for that love can be terrifying, I would rather fought for it and lost than to have never tried at all.

      @BillyBudd: I’ve seen the original play premiered in W. Hollywood, 1998…brilliant (and taboo back then). It starred then unknown White Collar’s star, Tim Dekay. Plot: closeted gay pilot form a deep friendship with hetero/married officer buddy all the while meeting and entering into a secretive relationship with a fellow pilot. Fellow pilot later dies in training/combat and grieving partner comes out to hetero officer buddy. All with very heartfelt and dynamic impact conclusion. This film adds more visual depth.
