Flame On: Neil Patrick Harris Goes Up in Smoke

Neil Patrick Harris was flaming! And not in the Miss J sorta way. In a Sunday run-through for his TV Land Awards hosting gig, Harris rehearsed swinging on to stage from a rope, which he does in a Survivor costume with with packs attached to his back that spew smoke as he rips off his get-up. Except moments after rehearsing the scene, the smoke packs caught fire, burning his clothes. E!’s gossip gay Marc Malkin says he wasn’t seriously injured, just a few welts on his back, and he was able to finish the taping. The TV Land Awards air Tuesday, probably without the behind-the-scenes fire reel.
