Most of the gays have heard of Mark Bingham, the gay 9/11 hero who led the revolt against the hijackers on United Flight 93, the plane that ended up crashing in Pennsylvania on its way to the U.S. Capitol Building. As a byproduct of the death penalty trial of conspirator Zacarias Moussaoui, the transcripts of the cockpit voice recorder from Flight 93 have been released to the public and are available online at The Smoking Gun. These documents show what was being said for the last half hour the plane was in the air. The mantra “Allah is the Greatest” features heavily, as does “I don’t want to die.”
