Foolishness.

Jim Naugle, the Fort Lauderdale mayor who campaigned against the scourge of gay sex last year, accidentally spoke with gay magazine The Advocate this week. Apparently Naugle thought it was a legal publication, so he told them why he’s against gay marriage. It’s a pretty stock – and dangerous – reason: “Marriage is a religious institution, and government should define it to be between a man and a woman.” Wait, aren’t church and state separate? We’re confused. [The Advocate]
