Well, the part about kissing another man. I don’t really do that, so… I didn’t want to think of him as a woman. Many people told me, “Oh, just close your eyes and think of him as a woman.” But no, because that is a totally different energy and I had to be very present with Alex and his male energy. Now that is the sign of a good actor – he’s not pre-occupied with a character’s sexuality so much as wanting to be able to inhabit the character to make we the audience believe in it. Kudos.

I love this quote. Its quite obvious the “close your eyes” thing doesn’t work and never will work. Every single thing about a man is different from a woman. The way they move and the way they feel is a total difference between a man and a woman.
