“For The Gays.”
“[Pushing Daisies actress] Kristen Chenoweth is going in a new direction with her music. She’s working on releasing an album, and according to Kristen, this one’s for the gays! She says, “One of the make-up artists at Pushing Daisies was like, ‘What’s your next album gonna be?’ And I said, ‘I dunno.’ He was like, ‘How about For the Gays?’ I was like, ‘Genius!’ That is going to be the title of my next album – For the Gays.’”
I sat next to a man on a plane ride that said he was working on a xmas album with this lady. I had no idea who she was.
I can’t wait for Pushing Daisies to come back. It was the highlight of my television season last year.

My husband went to college with “Kristi.” She has come a long way since her days at Oklahoma City University! And how can any self-respecting gay not know who Galinda from Wicked is?!
I got to meet her once….she was with Camryn Mannheim, of all people. Kristi was so tiny you could put her in your pocket. Camryn, not so much.
Dr. Pedantic — I’m cracking up imagining the two of them standing together. Isn’t the height difference a foot or more? Add in the difference in body type and it’s like a St. Bernard and a Chihuahua standing side by side. (Not to imply that either of them are dogs! That was just my visual.)
Maybe she’ll go on the 700 club with Pat Robertson and promote it like she did with her last CD.
So are we to assume it’ll be a CD of show tunes?
“…for the gays”, what does that mean? Like Paul suggested, show tunes?, circuit party remixes? …

Good for Chenoweth! It’s nice to see someone reminding us that “Christian” should not equate with “bigoted.”
re: appearing on 700 Club. Yeah, I think her days of appearing on the 700 Club are over. From what she has said, she didn’t realize what a hateful bigot Pat Robertson was when she appeared on that show. I don’t think she’ll make that mistake again. She better not, anyway.
