Foreman v Frank!
Biggest Battle Since Crawford v. Davis

Outgoing Task Force leader Matt Foreman appeared on Michelangelo Signorile's radio show this week and lobbed a few hard balls at Representative Barney Frank, a man some say didn't take a strong enough stand during last year's ENDA debacle.

I think what really happened is [Speaker Nancy Pelosi's] people said 'Look, Congress has a terrible reputation right now, they're not delivering for any progressive causes… What do we have to do to deliver to our progressive allies?' That means labor and health and environment and gays. And, so, I mean, I don't know this for a fact, but I would bet my life that this is what happened: They went to Barney Frank and said 'What do we need to pass ENDA?"

"Representative Frank, who has always been pretty squeamish on the trans issue, and I guess I can say these things because I am leaving my job…

Frank's office called in soon after and called Foreman's allegations "absurd".

Frank will appear on Signorile's Sirius radio show today at 3:30 to plead his case.

It wasn't his first sign of mental instability last year, but Mad Tranny Disease finally drove Matt Foreman so far over the sanity edge you'd need a submarine to bring him back.

Sorry I ever said his leaving the activist movement was a loss.

PS: He's leaving but the T in NGLTF strangely still does not stand for Transgender. Guess that shows how deep his commitment REALLY was, but, hey, why not slander Barney one more time before the door hits you in your flabby ass on your way out.

Foreman is right. The essence of what he says is that the Democrats and Republicans betrayed us with a bipartisan attack.

With gleeful Republican support Frank, Reid, Billary, Pelosi, Feinstein, Obama and company actively and deliberately sabotaged our agenda; the Clintons’ DOMA and DADT stay while ENDA and the hate crimes bill are scuttled. They did it so the Republicans would't have any 'wedge' issues and so that Democrats could appeal to the bigot vote. Clinton and OIbama are way ahead of the Congressional Democrats on that score.

Except for not getting a pretty red coat to wear how is Barney Frank different than Benedict Arnold.

How many more GLBT youth will have to die before we wake up and launch a massive campaign for a tough hate crimes bill, even if that puts the Democrats on the spot.

Frank should have been a leader on this issue. Instead, he capitulated for what? He should think about that dead Trans kid in California and think about what he did to contribute to the climate that makes that acceptable…
