Four Days Later, A-List Cast Member Files Police Report About GOP-Bashing

After LGBT blogs buzzed about The A-List: Dallas‘ Taylor Garrett meeting with Republi-hag Ann Coulter on the show, Garrett tweeted that someone threw a rock through his apartment window and Logo TV subsequently blogged that the attack was “all the more reason to tune in to tonight’s big A-List: Dallas premiere… and to see what the fuss is all about.”

Gay blogger Joe Jervis called the incident a “transparent publicity stunt” because Garrett did not file a police report. Now, four days later, Garrett finally has.

You may now all go on with the rest of your lives.

Leaving aside what I think of his politics, I’am sure he would have been on the
phone to the cops right away if it was real.
That’s just how just how people like that are.

I could never take a picture with this absolutely vile and despicable woman.

That continues to be odd also that he waited 4 days to file a police report.Normally people do it automatically or within at least a day.Waiting that long is just too suspicious and out of the ordinary especially in a case like the one Taylor claimed happened.

So the apartment complex didn’t file a police report? I’m thinking they would want to collect on insurance and would need a report. So what he never told the complex and replaced the window himself? Oh and I could type better if what I was writing didn’t run behind this god damn Ron Paul add.

Yea right, probably had a fellow gay republican type the note and throw the rock in his window, about as real as Reichen showing up naked on the internet after jacking on cam4 for weeks.

Logo is a train wreck and an embarrassment. Sad to think that gays find this trash entertaining.

Well I am no super sleuth (slut, perhaps, upon a time) but I find it incredible that the paper note, somehow affixed to the displayed rock, thrown with sufficient force to break through the window, perhaps through the blinds though no apparent dings in the blind slats, unto a rough sisal rug, and yet, not a single tear nor even a frayed edge on the paper. Me thinks she doth protest too much!

yikes! he was better off letting sleeping dogs lie. while tweeting about a fake crime is probably protected by the first amendment, filing a false police report is a crime. this is not going to end well for him.

@ Mike in Asheville brings up what to me is the main proof that this was hoax. Trying to create buzz for your piece of crap cable show is one thing. Do it by making up a hate crime is beyond the pale.

This makes LOGO as slimy as the folks over at Here/Regent Media. Why can’t we have someone operate a gay network that aren’t slime balls?

We deserve better than these clowns.

      lame.

and any gay man who actively works against a woman’s right to choose deserves every ounce of anti-gay bigotry and discrimination that they will face in life.

this story is as made-up as GOProud’s Jimmy LaSalvia insisting he was “attacked by black youths”

The note seems like something that someone parodying gay on gay crime would write. Like if SNL was like “what would one gay guy say to the other if…”. No gay person talks like that, except for maybe a republican, christian Dallas type who hopes this little show will be her ticket into 15 mins of fame. “Twink”? Really? ..she flatters herself…

Well. How heartwarming to see the gay community come to the aid of someone claiming he was gay-bashed. Had this claim come from gay heroes Don Lemon, Neil Patrick Harris, or Rosie O’Wacko, I somehow believe the responses would have been less suspicious and more a call to arms against whoever did this.

Just keep in mind, that when you begin picking and choosing your victims based on their politics, you lose all credibility—all of it—and will be hard-pressed to regain it.

      Just sayin’.

@the crustybastard: Newsflash: Everyone on TV is an attention whore. Ev-er-y-one. And do you really think this situation would be so “suspicious” if it had been a conservative attacking a liberal? No—it would have been the lead story on the NBC Nightly News as a vicious hate crime and the good people at Queerty would have been demanding the blood of whomever had committed the act. The double-standard here is so blatant it’s laughable. Laughable, I say!

@delurker: I never said it wasn’t suspicious, because it is, somewhat. I just stated the obvious: That had it been a lefty whose car was vandalized, and had there been an anti-gay note from, say, a church group or DOMA, you guys wouldn’t have questioned it—ever. It would have been proof positive that all of us poor little gay boys are just victims of the hetero establishment. But when a liberal attacks a conservative, especially within the gay community? Must be a “publicity stunt.” Riiiiight.

PIT, i know you like to pretend the enemies are “Liberals” – it’s the only way you can convince yourself that you’re not a daily disappointment to your Republican family. Keep it up – wont’ make our lives worse, and wont’ make your own life better. You’ll be a disappointment and a doormat to them your entire life.

      and you deserve it.

@Politically Incorrect Thug: Political affiliation has nothing to do with the story, in my opinion. It’s the 4 days in-between the “incident” and his filing of a police report. Nevermind the fact that it conveniently happened when this stupid show was premiering… like the Logo blog’s “all the more reason to tune in to tonight’s big A-List: Dallas premiere… and to see what the fuss is all about.”

That’s why it all appears to be bullshit. Not his ridiculous politics. If the same events happened & it was switched to a “liberal” guy… I’d say the exact same thing. Fuck this kid.

and i thought Gay Conservatives didn’t believe in “hate crime.”

they’re the product of the imaginations of “liberal self-victimization”, right?

that’s GOProud’s stance, at least. You know, when they’re not making up stories about “Black Youths” or “Liberals” attacking their own

Still constantly playing the “All conservatives are little victims” card.

How funny that conservatives always want to play the game of how tough they are and yet their biggest political argument is always “Boo hoo, you’re picking on me”.

The guy is a reality show attention whore, took days to report this incident and only after people pointed out how phony the story sounded etc..

Oh, and if you say that I am picking on him because he is a republican, you might want to go back and read some of my postings on the other A list cast.

I think the entire city of Dallas is full of queens like this vile, self hating queen. The whole bleached teeth, sculpted eyebrows look is repulsive.

The fact that he associates with Ann Coulter proves that he is a soulless shell of a person who is capable of manufacturing the whole “hate crime” episode.
