Don’t buy it, Maddow is sharp enough to know what would happen if she were on Fox — not only would she be used to boost the claim that the network really is balanced, she’d also get muzzled (probably stuck covering only stories like the Iraqi soccer team and disembodied feet washing on the shore — similar to how Greta Van Sustern, who was Fox’s ‘see we gave a liberal a show’ example for a while, was mostly covering crime). She walked away from Race to the White House for a few days because she couldn’t handle another minute of Jerimiah Wright talk, she would go insane at Fox News and she’d know it.
